How the guarantee works

Agent flags something
Your property manager does the exit inspection and notes a cleaning item.

Tell Vinnie within 72 hours
Send the agent's written notes (and photos if you have them) within 72 hours of your clean.

He comes back free
Vinnie returns and re-cleans those areas at no charge. Done properly, again.
What's covered
- Everything included in your bond clean
- Any add-ons you booked, like carpets or the fridge
- Items your agent flags in writing within 72 hours
- A free return visit, booked around you and the agent
What's not covered
- Damage, and fair wear and tear
- Faded or peeling paint, and marks that won't clean off
- Carpet stains if carpet cleaning wasn't booked
- Mould regrowth and pest issues
- Rubbish or items left behind
- Upholstery, mattresses and furniture
- Outside windows, gardens, lawns and unbooked outdoor areas
- Anything dirtied after the clean (removalists, tradies, people returning)
The fine print
- Bond cleans only. The guarantee applies to bond cleans, for items included in the clean and add-ons you booked.
- Report within 72 hours. Send the property manager's written notes (and photos if you have them) within 72 hours of your clean.
- Access. The property must be accessible for the re-clean, with power and water still connected.
- The property must be empty at the time of the clean, with power, water and hot water on.
- A re-clean, not a refund. The guarantee is a free re-clean. Whether you receive your bond is decided by your lease, your property manager and the RTA, and can be affected by things outside cleaning, such as damage or unpaid rent. Vinnie Did It is not responsible for bond deductions.
