Who we are

Vinnie Did It is a Brisbane cleaning business owned and run by Vinnie Williams (ABN 83 767 464 792). In this policy, "we" and "us" means Vinnie Did It. We take your privacy seriously and only collect what we need to book and do your clean.

What we collect

• Your name, mobile number and email address.
• The address and suburb of the property, plus any access, pet or parking notes you give us.
• Details of your booking: the service, home size, condition, extras, day and price.
• Photos of the property if you choose to upload them.
• Referral codes you use or share.
• Messages you send us by phone, text, email or social media.

Card details: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. If you agree when booking, Stripe securely saves your card so we can charge an approved condition fee (see our booking terms). We only ever charge it after you've approved it.

How we use it

• To confirm, prepare for and carry out your clean, and to contact you about it.
• To take payment, issue receipts, and handle refunds, condition fees and re-cleans.
• To send booking emails, such as your confirmation and a reminder the day before.
• To run our referral rewards.
• To keep business, tax and GST records as the law requires.

We don't sell your information, and we don't send marketing emails unless you've asked us to.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the services we use to run the business, and only what they need:

• Stripe, to process payments.
• Our website, database and email providers, which host this site, store bookings and photos, and send booking emails.
• Your property manager or agent, only if you ask us to, for example to arrange a re-clean.

Some of these providers may store information outside Australia. We use reputable providers that protect it with strong security. We'll also share information if the law requires it.

How we keep it safe

Bookings and photos are stored in a private, password-protected system that only Vinnie Williams can access. We keep booking and payment records for as long as tax law requires (usually five years), and we delete property photos when they're no longer needed for your job.

Cookies and website data

This site uses only what it needs to work, such as remembering your booking while you fill it in, and basic visit statistics that don't identify you. We don't use advertising trackers.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted (unless we have to keep it by law). Email hello@vinniedidit.com.au or call 0483 727 155.

If you have a concern about your privacy, please contact us first and we'll do our best to fix it quickly. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
